Deposits:
A wedding agreement is not confirmed until a booking deposit of $100
has been received. Each
wedding package is paid for by a series of deposits:
Booking Deposit - $100 payable on booking
First Deposit - 1/3 of contracted package, less
booking deposit, due 6 months before the wedding
Second Deposit - 1/3 of contracted package, due 3 months before the
wedding
Final Deposit - Balance payable when previews are picked up.
Postponements
and Cancellations:
If the wedding is postponed and we are able to photograph the revised
date, all deposits will be applied to the revised date. If we are unable
to photograph on that date due to other committments, all deposits
less
any expenses we have incurred will be returned. If the wedding is cancelled,
the booking deposit will be retained if we have turned down other
work. All other deposits, less any incurred expenses will be returned.
Letter
of Agreement:
Once the booking deposit has been made, a letter of agreement will be
drafted. This will list things such as: the times and places of the
photography, the times that the photographer will be present and the
package to be purchased. One requirement of the agreement is that the
Bride or Groom must make contact with the studio during the week prior
to the wedding. This will ensure that all information is correct.
Preview
Prints:
The preview prints from your wedding are included with the wedding
package. They are accompanied by a DVD for previewing. The DVD can
be kept at no charge if you place your wedding order within 3 weeks
of picking up previews. The previews may not be properly balanced for
colour or
density. All final photographs will be properly adjusted.
Copyright:
All photographs are copyright in the name of the studio. All digital
files remain property of the studio unless reprint rights are purchased.
Copying of the photographs taken by Weese Photography is expressly prohibited,
including the transfer of images to electronic formats. We store your
files safely and properly so they may be used in the future to make
additional photographs should the need arise.
Retouching:
Any retouching will be charged on an individual quote basis and must
be requested at the time of ordering.
Extended
Families: Weddings are one of the times when families get
together, presenting an excellent opportunity to be photographed. You
should be
aware that the time taken to make family photographs may reduce the
time available for photos of the Bride and Groom.
